NYFA: This is
the three-minute music assignment I finished as part of
my course at the New York Film Academy in 2002. It's called "Run
from the Future" and is based around my fondness for
suspense and horror movies which carry a bit of a message.
The film was shot in six hours on location in the hallways
of King's College and stars Reinier Noordzy as the pursuer
and Sarah Osborne as the pursued. The music used is BrainBug's "Nightmare" available
to buy on the Positiva label.
Dawson's Creek Promo: When Dawson's Creek
began its third series on UK television, the T4 show ran
a competition where viewers had to design a promo for the
series. There were well over 3,000 entrees but my script
for the advert finally won. I got to spend the day on the
set with the crew, followed by a party at the sound republic
and then met Dawson (James Van der Beek) live on T4 where
my advert was broadcast.
IDJ: When a mix of mine drew attention
from a radio station in the states (KUCI 88.9fm, Rob Roy's
Music Mirth and Madness) I informed IDJ magazine about
it and they ran a mention about it in their reader's news
section.
URB Magazine: My Late Night London mix
was given a great review in URB magazine - America's biggest
selling dance and DJ magazine. You can check out the review
here.
DJ Mag : Letter I wrote to DJ Mag
in praise of the new Pioneer DVJ decks that me and VJ
YESCA hope to get our mitts on one day.
00-No! : The combined effort of VJ
Yesca and myself, this tripped-out club land vizfest is
an example of the work we pull-off live: taking a well-loved
film and remixing the hell out of it!
