Desc: The CD opens with my exclusive three
minute scratch megamix using vocals from various songs (how
many can you spot?) over Dre’s classic ‘The
next episode’. The vibe drops to a downtempo tip with
Smoke City’s ‘With You’ before slowly
creeping back up with Bushwacka!’s mix of Billie Jean,
then maintaining a steady pace with ‘U know Y’
and ‘Fly-bi’. The first half hour is rounded
off with the sublime Stanton warrior’s mix of ‘Love
Story’ after which an acapella is used to bridge the
gap to some funky underground breakbeat.

Title: The Boots Breaks and
Funky House vl:2
Genre: Film / TV dialogue combined with
funky/progressive house and breaks.
Genre: Film / TV dialogue combined with
irresistible breaks remixes of some memorable tunes.
Desc: Hold your breath, because while
the CD opens with what at first appears to be Underworld’s
‘Born slippy’ we soon segue into a medley of
film dialogue and mixed up tv themes (again, can you name
all the samples?). The ten minute movie medley ends with
my own bootleg mix of Future Sound of London’s Papa
new Guinea, spliced with Fatboy’s Right Here Right
Now, before we bring things right back down with the Smith
and Mighty mix of Beat International’s’dub be
good to me’. A slow pace is maintained but not before
I use a cheeky 50 Cent acapella over a jazz instrumental,
that’s when things really kick off and low and behold
breakz remixes including one of Coldplay’s clocks
ensue…
